Searching..for a new style

Blah! Blah! That's how I have been feeling lately! But when I saw this card by mrupple on SCS I suddenly found the spark again! I like the way that it is bold and grahic yet feminine too. I needed to make a card for my twenty-something niece and this seemed perfect so I went straight away and cased it....even though it was nearly midnight Lol! It is much the same in layout as hers but I did not have all the pretty diecuts etc that she had used so I just made the best with what I had and was pretty happy with the result. More layers than I would usually use but like I said I feel like my style is changing up here.Maybe it is the extra warmth and the extra sun but I seem to be liking a bolder more graphic style. This card does not need to be posted so I could get away with the bulkier flower embellishment. My brother is in Qld for my niece's birthday and will be visiting us tomorrow! Yeah ! Love visitors!
