CIUT 31

Here's another Change it up Tuesday!- CASE your own card and just change the colours! See...
Do you remember that I had so much trouble with the ribbon the last time I made this card? (Click here to see it)
A kind comment from Leonie (who I cased the idea from) suggested that if I had used SU sticky strip it would have been much easier.
Well I just received a new order and in it was some sticky strip (just so I could master this technique LOL-told you I was stubborn!)
And yes Leonie you were right- the ruffled ribbon came good with no hassle at all! So easy and I love the effect! (Like the original colour scheme best though!)

So if my silly ravings about starving children deterred you from trying this gorgeous technique...then fear no more!!....Just use the right stuff!!

Inkspiration #4

Keesh's Challenge this week was a Sketch. Here is the sketch format and my card..... I wanted to use the beautiful "Afternoon Tea paper again before it retires forever in March and seeing as it is February already I thought I had better get a move on !!! The butterfly and flowers are from the "Live your Dream" set. The cardstock- my favourites Blue Bayou and Groovy Guava. Sorry the photo came out dark when I uploaded it and these colours do not show up well.
The ribbon is soft sky. The ribbon treatment is CASED from Leonie's cute little witch card. See it at
WARNING If you are a perfectionist do not attempt this ribbon treatment- Your children may starve as you "just fix this little loop up" I would not like to tell you how long I spent doing this!!! As I fixed one bit another became unstuck and unravelled. And when you finally get it looking right... DO NOT TOUCH IT AGAIN !!! Any tips Leonie?
