A week or so ago I made the bold claim on my blog that if you wanted to make a special card for anyone with a number on it all you needed was some age/gender appropriate DSP , bling- and FTL #248 from the Clean and Simple Stamping blog.
So when I saw this week's Casual Friday challenge (to make a card with a number on it) I decided to test out my theory.
The last card that I made using this sketch was a pretty pink creation with sparkly numbers for my
" 91 years young" mum.
This time I have made a masculine version with a piece of DSP for the base and a sentiment panel from some cool looking wrapping paper I found which has been mounted on a strip of gold mirror card, simple bling, and some gold number stickers from the discount shop.
I am pretty sure it still fits the CAS guidelines at CAS-ual Fridays even though it has a patterned paper base. If not ...sorry! but thanks for the inspiration anyway!!
