Imagine being SO talented that even the "insides" of your cards inspire people to create?? That's what happened to me this afternoon while checking out the latest oh so fabulous "Teneale" creation. ..the inside of her card looked so good that it went into my faves!! It also immediately reminded me of this week's FTL (# 141) sketch so I wasted no time in heading into my craftroom and making this version. The ruffly flower is also inspired- this time by my friend Lisa. When I was at her house the other day she was making one like this that I loved -to put on a card for a good friend of hers. I don't usually have much success with these flowers - I usually end up pulling them off and sending them straight to card heaven! - but I think the very elegant "Love notes" DSP suits them very well and it looks "right" on this layout too. And I just LOVE the vintagey brad that I found in my stash- not sure where that came from but THANKS!! if it was you who gave it to me !! It was perfect for this card! I'm even happy with my little corner of script which I improvised using "Fresh Cuts" and emphasised a bit with a black photo corner.
I am happy with how "special" this card turned out - think I will save it for one of my sister's birthdays at the end of the year!
