I made a patchwork card for OLW #54 and received 9 nice comments saying that they liked it! Thank you!....BUT ......I was not happy with it. It needed......something.......!
So I rummaged through my stash and found this cute giraffe in just the right colour! I cut it out and stuck it on and now it is not a one layer card any more.....BUT... ....I am happy with it!
Edited to add- So happy with my card I made a girly version too ! A couple of babies expected soon in my daughter's circle of friends. Interestingly enough, for this younger generation-both of the mums do not know the sex of their baby yet. What do you think about this? I understand that knowing makes it much easier to prepare for the bub- but I still think it kind of spoils the "Ultimate Surprise Party" Lol!!

I'm a great fan of one-layer cards but in this case I think you've made the design even better - and I love that you made boy and girl cards! I'm a big believer in letting nature do its thing. Discovering the gender of my babies when they were born just added to the miracle for me! Vx
