Well if you REALLY want to be challenged head over to Jennifer's blog where you will find OLW #40! For this challenge your card has to be one layer only (hard enough already!) BUT it also must ONLY use 2 image stamps....no bling...no ribbon...no sentiment...nothing!. Only concessions are embossing and colouring. There are some great examples there of what you can do especially if you have some large background stamps- but since I don't have any of those I had to work with the background panel stamp from Oh so Lovely which is one of my fave stamps. I masked where I wanted my heart to go across the panel (so that the pink would be nice and bright) before I stamped it across the bottom third of my card. Using a stamp a ma jig I then carefully stamped the heart shape overlapping where the mask had been. The nice bright colours helped a lot- they are from the new CAS challenge blog "Less is More"- black , white and pink. And I used the VERY pink-Pink Passion ink. Also the bright, bold, clear images of the Best Wishes and More stamp set are perfect for CAS cards. Thanks Jennifer- this was a really hard challenge but really got me thinking creatively which was fun!I think it turned out ok but it is a little TOO austere even for my CAS tastes- think I will add at least a "Happy Valentines Day" sentiment to it before I actually give it to my DH!

This is brilliant - and certainly fulfils the requirements for both challenges. I do like that heart stamp!
So simple but so effective!

Well done Robyn . It's lovely
I seem to have missed afew of your cards. I think you picked one of my favourite PTI sets, I used that wreath soooo many times. And I really like your OLW card, you really thought outside the square.
Great card - it takes courage to just use two stamps and nothing else doesn't it - very tricky
I think it's just lovely as it is! Great job on the challenge.
Love the textured strip and the bright heart really pops!
clean and simple but cute too
thanks for joining us at the DYSU challenge this week
hugs

Wow that is a tricky challenge - loved what you came up with!
Definitely not too austere for my taste though - it's gorgeous! Love the way the heart pops against that beautiful textured strip.
