Do you Stack Up # 6

One of my newer blogging friends is Janna who lives in Germany. She is on the design team for a new challenge blog called Do you stack up? This week's challenge (# 6) is to use ribbon- and this is about the most flamboyant piece of ribbon that I own and so that is the way I have used it- Flamboyantly!!! Some of the very large bow has been cut off in editing the photo but I'm sure you get the idea! I rescued it from the packaging of one of my daughter's presents at Christmas- "It might be useful for a card some day" I said (as she groaned and rolled her eyes!) Well it just so happens that my niece has chosen olive green as the colour for her wedding later this year so I thought now would be a good time to use it seeing as we will be at the wedding and the card will not need to be posted. As I was thinking about how I was going to do the card I saw on Simplicity blog that Mark's Finest Papers had a very pretty sketch challenge this week ( # 42) - so when I combined the two..this is what I came up with- quite a departure from my usual more simple style but you can go a bit more special for a wedding I think! The stamp is the beautiful retired "Always"
