Now THAT'S a challenge!

Ever tried to do a one layer card? It's not as easy as you would at first think. Susan at "Simplicity" blog is an expert at the one layer card and a pretty funny lady too. If you really want a challenge...check out her OLW (One layer Wednesday) challenge. I have been stalking there for a while but was inspired by Sue (Tillymint) to have a go last week at her challenge to make a one layer card with "repetition"-that attempt sadly ended in the scrap bin!! This week's challenge was to add a masked shape to your one layer card. I have done better with it but it is still not right as I could not resist adding the pearl and the ribbon which is technichally not allowed- told you it was hard!! Still this one is too good for the scrap bin and is going to be sent to one of my daughter's friends who recently announced her engagement! Sorry about the bow being cut off at the top of the photo but you get the idea!

You are too hard on yourself Robyn .
The card is lovely all the same and it certainly will be appreciated by receiver .

Haven't caught up with your blog for a while, but have just spent 10mins catching up - love what you have been doing with Rich Razzleberry & Cottage wall - and love that shabby flower on the ginger blossom background!
