Blog Awards

I'm afraid I have been rather slack about acknowledging some blog awards which were very kindly sent my way by Claire and Shirley Anne. They both sent me a "Beautiful Blogger" award !! Thanks very much ladies! How lovely to have my little old blog enjoyed and recognised!! It has become a big part of my life now that I have no children at home- it works well to keep me out of mischief!! But as I have previously received this award and have done the "sharing 10 things" and the "choosing 10 people" I am going to skip that part!!
However recently I was also awarded this "Swap Sisters Bonny Blog" award by Gemma. How cool is the little owl??!! I had no idea that Gemma still followed my blog- so that was a nice surprise! I have not visited her blog since last year when she took a break from blogging while pregnant with her first child ....and now her little boy Kaden is 1 year old! 1) My fave holiday place is .....anywhere in Queensland!!
2)I love playing Wordscraper ( a version of Scrabble) on Facebook
3)I have spent most of my life trying to straighten my curly hair!
4)My first car was an Aqua VW Beetle- loved that car!!
5) We are a family of computer addicts- even though I once said "I'll NEVER have a computer in MY house!!" Just as well I changed my mind because my son met his current girlfriend on E-Harmony!!
