A much "warmer" birthday wish....

Well can you believe that this time last year we were in Sweden for my son's wedding!! -15 degrees!

My daughter's birthday was the day after the wedding...and we made her a card from SNOW!! . (Unfortunately I can't find the photo of it that we took!)

That day we also went Husky dog sledding (THE most wonderful thing I have ever done!) snowmobile riding (yes that is me underneath the balaclava!) and slept the night in a "snow room" in the "Ice Hotel"

It was a birthday to remember...don't know how she is ever going to top that one!!
This year's birthday will be a bit warmer and a lot more boring!! But we will still have fun! I am going to visit her and we are going to Ikea for the day. Swedish meatballs instead of Swedish reindeer (Yes ! I really DID eat that!!)
Here is the (much warmer!) card I have made for her this year.....
It uses Sketch # 118  from Freshly Made Sketches ..but I was too late for the cut off point!
I also have found a new challenge blog! It is at "Crafty Hazelnuts"  and every card entered needs to have a piece of patterned paper as the background. As I definitely have lots of patterned paper to use up-I will be joining in! (Just so I have a good excuse to buy more Lol!)
