Road to ...."Recovery"

I just heard that one of my friend's DH has been in hospital over the weekend. This gave me the perfect chance to make another card using the vehicle stickers that I recently bought from the discount store. This time I have used this week's sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch. #42  I did change the sketch a little bit-I did have the "road" cut off like in the sketch but I extended it right across....I didn't want the "road to recovery" looking like it was going to be too hazardous for my friend ! It is also another one for this week's CAS challenge on Splitcoast which is the theme of "Road Trip"

Thanks for visiting my blog and for your encouraging comments. You mentioned about whether my highlighted words are meant to have links - but they aren't: I just highlight words so someone who doesn't want to read all my waffle, can just scan my blog post and look at the highlighted bold bits which in essence, is a summary of what I used to make my project. If you are a seasoned cardmaker and not a beginner, most of what I say is probably irrelevant because you can see what I did by looking at my cards. Usually if something is underlined, it has a link to another website.

How are you finding the Qld weather in comparison to Melbourne? I have friends in Wellington Point so have been up there many times at different times of the year. I didn't know what a storm was till I was up there in one! Wow - huge hail and I was a little scared!
