You "meet" the nicest people in Blogland!
A week or so ago I received a huge envelope of papercraft goodness from my sweet blog friend in Adelaide...Shirley Ann.
Inside the envelope was all manner of treasures from her crafty stash-paper/ribbon/sparkles/flowers..it was just like Christmas ! (in actual fact even better coz I loved it all Lol!)
In particular this gorgeous paper which seemed just right for a quick note to cheer a new friend of mine whose DH is having more chemo this week.
I did not want to cover up the prettiness of the paper so I just added a twine bow and a simple message.
I hope this card brings her a smile this week- as did your lovely and thoughtful gift to me Shirley Ann !

I love how you left this gorgeous paper uncovered with just a simple embellishment and sentiment.
Hope you received my recent email with instructions for the mini album. Hopefully you can understand them (fingers crossed). Helen
Hi Robyn so glad envelope turned up safely .
What a sweet card .Another wonderful example of less is more .
I am sure it will be appreciated .
Off now to see what I have missed on your blog
Hugs Shirley-Anne
Aren't surprise parcels just great? (both received and sent). We are lucky indeed if we have kind friends.
Your note card is lovely, you have made great use of the paper and the proportions are spot on. Di
Hi Robyn, what a wonderful surprise present! They REALLY make your day when you open up an envelope thinking: "I wonder what this is?" and then find it is lovely, lovely cardmaking goodies! Waaay better than federal election papers full of waffle! I have a bin full of them - what a waste of trees! I shall be glad when the election is over tomorrow....so sick of it all.....
I adore your card Robyn - so beautifully simple: CAS at it's very best!!
