I originally made this card for this week's Clean and Simple Challenge on SCS. The inspiration pic was of cupcakes in gorgeous pastel tones of pink, mauve, yellow and green. My card was almost finished when I decided to add a bit more "texture" to the grass by stamping some more in with another shade of green....DISASTER!!
The card then sat on my desk- I was so dissapointed with it but could not bring myself to throw it in the bin. That is until I saw a card that Theresa had made for this week's "Say it with twine" challenge on Annabelle Stamps. She had made grass for her card with twine - Yeah! I quickly found some paper twine that I had in my stash and set about covering the stems of my flowers and grass with it and I am quite happy with the result- maybe not the best card ever made but certainly saved from certain death on Rubbish Collection Day!

Even though you're heading into Autumn there's a wonderful spring feeling about your lovely card Robyn. It would have been a terrible shame for it to have ended its days in the bin! I love the pretty pastel flowers and the twine grass works beautifully! Vicky x
Am so pleased you saved your card from the "Garbage Man".... It is so happy & bright Robyn. I love how you have created your grass. A simple card, but with so much appeal!
Lovely card!
