....and The Bride wore.....

....shoes!! HaHa (my sister who is a lot less "free spirited" than her new daughter-in law, was afraid that she wouldn't!!) Regular readers of my blog will know that I was invited to a wedding recently which promised to be a bit "alternative". Well it WAS a bit but I am happy to report that the bride DID wear shoes and a red Spanish style dress which was different but very "her". The groom (my nephew) looked very dapper in his suit and trademark hat. The reception had a lovely view of the ocean and a South American band- "Mucho Mamba"which had (some of us) unable to sit still for long! After the wedding (which was in Sydney) DH and I came home the "long way" . Our route took us down the south coast of NSW then when we hit Victoria turned north again past Mt Hotham and Dinner Plain ( ...covered in snow in winter) then down to ever lovely Bright for another night before we headed home. It was a great mini holiday which has given us a few lovely new places that we would like to revisit another time for a closer look.

Aaaah! Don't they look so happy?! I can't imagine why shoes would be so important on a wedding day - that's not what it's all about! Glad you had a lovely mini break Robyn. Wish I could be in Australia right now, land of no jumpers! (Apart from kangaroos and wallabies that is...) Vicky x
