Swedish Christmas

LOVED the colour challenge on SCS this week..Crumb cake/white/pear pizzaz and was inspired by this sweet card by mamaxsix to make another "triangle tree" Christmas card. We have never had Patterned Pines in Australia so I made my own patterned pine with the swirl from Baroque Motifs. (look closely!!) I will be giving this one to my son and his fiance.
Why "Swedish" Christmas you might be asking??? Well it turns out that my wild and crazy adventurous son and his equally wild and crazy adventurous fiance were apparently SERIOUS when they were talking about a wedding in an ice cave in Sweden!!! So next (northern hemisphere) winter I might be LOOKING at snow covered winter scenes... instead of just making them with cardstock and glitter!!! Don't know what to think about it all at the moment at the moment except for that Sweden is a long ...long ....way from Australia and a LOT... LOT ...colder!!! Eeeks!!
