Happy New Year

Hi Everyone...Hope your Christmas was a happy one . We were visiting our family in Ballarat and so did not even hear about the big storm that hit Melbourne on Christmas Day (quite close to our area) until we got home on Boxing Day- thankfully we did not come home to any storm damage!!
Here is a Happy New Year card that I have made using sketch #108 from Skipping Stones Design. ...with a few liberties taken with the sketch! I struggled a bit...ok a lot... to get the look I wanted! ...And my craft room ...which was turned into a spotlessly clean guest room before Christmas - is now a hopeless mess again! It is for my nephew and his wife who have had dramas of their own this year with a very headstrong young son but thankfully with a bit of specialist help things have been improving lately. Life is that much harder when your kids won't sleep! Hopefully 2012 will be a better one for them....and I very much hope it will be a good one for you too! Thanks for all the visits and lovely comments this year ..I am looking forward to lots more crafty fun..and a cleaner craft room... next year!!
