Well, In my last post I shared my frustration at how my cards looked much better IRL than they do on my blog and asked if anyone knew of any helpful tips and hints for photographing and editing. Well Amy, (the designer of the Skipping Stones sketch that I used) kindly commented on my card and sent me a link on Splitcoast stampers for a tutorial that she had done on this very subject!. And,as you can see if you compare this photo to the original one ...I have learnt quite a lot already.... in one afternoon!! And what's more- I TOOK THIS PHOTO!! (Not my DH!!) (Can you tell I am excited!!) It hardly looks like the same card!!
So if you, like me, are also frustrated that your card always seems to look better in your house than on your blog- you might want to check out Amy's wise words- Go to Split coast/Click on Forums/Search-photographing projects and right at the top will be Amy's tutorial.
All I can say is WOW!! .....and ....THANK YOU AMY !!

Oh wow...thanks for the tip, Robyn. That second photo is amazing. Will definitely check out the link.
I'm so glad you found the tutorial to be helpful! Your new picture looks fantastic! Thanks so much for the kind feedback! I'll let you know if I ever get around to updating the tutorial with some additional things I've learned since then. I'm no expert, just another paper crafter who gets frustrated when my photos don't look as good as the real thing. Have a great weekend!
