Last Friday an another exciting new CAS challenge blog started!! This one is called "CAS-ual Fridays" and Week 1's challenge is to include text on your card-. Since I don't really own any "texty" type stamps I went with some old texty DSP that I had in my stash and made this Christmas card . ( Yeah I can finally move up to 3 on Shirley Ann's list!!) I haver decided that this year the motto for my Christmas cards is going to be "fun and flat" (for easier posting!)- even this one is a bit too lumpy!! But at least its a start! The colours have not shown up the greatest in the pic- the DSP is a river rock kind of colour- cherry sprinkles and olive paper twine (Annabelle stamps) on a very vanilla base.
The "banner" at the bottom entitles me to also enter this in CAS118 on Split coast Stampers. The theme this week is "banners" (der!)

I don't know which I like best - the title of your post of the texty trees themselves! I love the way these challenges make us think outside the box - who needs brain training?! Now I'm fully caught up - thanks for your hospitality Robyn. Vx

Those trees are beautiful!! My holiday cards (when I send them, of course - LOL) are pretty flat, too. I hate to pay extra postage for bulk. Thanks so much for playing with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
