I found a new (to me) blog the other day! As well as sharing some FABULOUS cards - Gretchen from "This n That" also shared how she has been implementing an idea of reorganising one little area of her home every day for a month! Now as I am suffering a bit at the moment with the "empty nest blues"- I was inspired to follow along and this morning revamped this little corner of my kitchen which previously had looked a little (well...maybe a lot Lol!!) messy and sad. The amazing thing is that it did not cost me a cent!- I just cleaned up and rearranged bits that I had there ...and elsewhere in the house and now this corner makes me happy every time I go into my kitchen !! The Jamie Oliver cookbook was my Mother's Day present so I am hoping that my happy corner will also inspire me to cook more as well! Thanks Gretchen for a great liitle "pick me up"!!

What a great idea! Your happy corner looks lovely, light and inviting. By the way, you will love the JO cookbook, I have made quite a few things out of it and my family have loved them, but then, we are Jamie Oliver junkies.
