It has taken me a while to get over all the weddings and visitors which have recently been a big part of my life. I was not prepared for the emotional toll that it all took on me and have not had any energy at all for creating anything. Anyway, I have finally ventured back into my craft room and made this card for Fall to Layout # 137. I used these colours because they are my faves- but then realised I cannot use this card for my own mother as although she would like the "old olive" green- the purple is definitely not her fave colour!! I really liked the layout though so will probably make another version for her in another colourway. I know I have used Brocade Basics AGAIN!! but I think it would have to be my most favourite image out of all of my stamps-especially for feminine cards.
PS Does anyone know of a link/tutorial on how to reverse a stamped image? When I saw it on the screen I realised that the 2nd leaf just does not look right! Mmmm ... a bit out of practice!

Good Luck I'll watch with interest to see if someone can help!
hello Robyn .I remember some time ago something about stamping image onto plain rubber block then stamping it onto project . Simply a lovely card even with that wayward leaf .
Hello proud mother of the bride! Good to see you back creating again; I missed you and your gorgeous cards! And this is anther stunner; so elegant!
I don't know anything about reverse stamping.....sorry!
Maybe you can find something on You Tube???
Love your card, Robyn. Your stamping and colour choices are fabulous.
Many thanks for your lovely comments on my blog, which brought me here. I'm so pleased because I got to see your beautiful daughters wedding photo's. She looked stunning and her dress looked beautiful. I know what you mean about the emotions. They kick in afterwards, because on the day everything goes straight over your head. Then, for weeks afterwards you get flashbacks xx
I know just what you mean Robyn - a huge all-consuming event like a wedding can leave you feeling wrung out when it's all over. I'm glad you're back in your craft room and I love your version of the FTL sketch. These colours remind me of you now! The only way I know to do reverse stamping is to stamp onto the imaging sheet of your stamp-a-majig, huff and press it where you want it. It doesn't give a particularly sharp image though (I tend to use it for reflections).
