Scrap Cards

I love making "scrap cards" and last week's Fall to Layout # 125 was perfect for these. It's fun to co-ordinate the colours and prints and it reduces the excessive amounts of that DSP that you "just had to have". (So that you can buy more Lol!!) I made 2 - one with masculine tones and paper twine from Annabelle, and a feminine one with colours from Annabelle Stamps - Say it in Pink Blue and Chocolate. with Caramel Check ribbon. The cute sprinkles and pearls I have used for embellishing the sentiment panels are also from Annabelle. The feminine one is being posted off to a lady called Jeanne in America who is having treatment for Breast Cancer and is in need of some cheering up. I read about her on Ann Maree's blog.

Hi Robyn,
I love your feminine card! The papers all work so well together and it is such a soft colour scheme you have used. Thanks for playing along with us this week!

I love the colours and patterns you've put together on both of these and just the simple twine/ribbon is all the embellishment they need. It's a lovely thrifty card too!
