The inspiration for the colours and images for this card came to me when I was in my kitchen , looked up , and saw a pile of dirty dishes sitting on the sink! Immediately I thought of this month's (August) "Challenge Heaven" sketch ( Don't ask me why??!!!) Straight away I knew which colours and stamp I would use!! Good grief!!- They did look pretty though sitting there!! Lol!! Of course I left the dishes there and came straight up to my craft room and made this card!! It uses the ultra cute "Share a cup" stamp from SU, Perfect Plum/Rose Red and Not Quite Navy for the ink and cardstock. The lovely ribbon is part of my "Chupa" candy !! Thankyou Chupa I love it! Sentiment from Trendy Trees. I made the scallop border by stamping the cups again in the 3 colours and then punching out a spotty circle with a small circle punch and layering them under the main panel's edge.

I love this dotty cup design! The colours are fab and I love the border you made with the punched circles. You really do inspire me Robyn - look for a post like this on my blog soon: "I was just looking at all the dust behind the sofa when I had a great idea for a card..." Thanks for making me chuckle!
You're very welcome, Robyn :) I love your card!! xxx
This card is so cute. The cups look so tempting... I would love to have tea/coffee in them.
I embossed a card with teapots a few days back and really enjoyed doing that...
The punched circles look so nice - how creative is that!
