Funky Stampin'

This is a card for my daughter's fiance who has a birthday next week. It uses Fall to Layout #96 from the "Clean and Simple Stamping" blog which as you would all know by now is one of my fave places to visit on the net ! As he is a very "male" male I could not have any degree of fussiness on the card so I decided to use Circle Circus which is the most masculine stamp set that I own. I originally started with blues and greens which are the colours for the current challenge at Our Creative Corner and even though they are great masculine colours I just could not work them to have the "modern" male look I was trying to achieve. Eventually I hit upon the idea of embossing with silver on black and like the "funky" look it gives. I finished off the card very simply with a silver mat, an embossed sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and 2 silver "Sprinkles" from Annabelle Stamps.
