Retro Flowers
This week's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches reminded me of cards that I used to make with a very favourite set from my early stamping days- "Bodacious Bouquet". To keep the "retro" theme going I even used some old favourite colours from those days- "Purely Pomegranate, Regal Rose,Old Olive and Groovy Guava"!! Who thinks up these names lol?? Now that I see my card on the screen next to the sketch I wish that I had moved my flowers over to the left a bit- oh well no time for that- I REALLY must get to what I was MEANT to be doing this morning- getting ready for a special Father's Day meal for my DH. We celebrate that day this Sunday in Australia

Beautiful card! Lovely color combination.
Wow! What a fabulous card! Those flowers are beautiful and they look so good paired with the cheery yellow stripe DSP. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
I always want to change my card when I see the photo!! But I think yours looks just perfect the way it is. LOVE the old colors that you pulled out - I have them all and you've inspired me to pull some out. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Hi Robyn, I finally found your blog as I visited your old one and was a bit confused! So GLAD I found where you are now! So happy to see back into cardmaking - and your card is absolutely gorgeous - I wouldn't change a thing! Thanks for stopping by my blog and your comments - they made my day!
