Shirley Case

My friend Shirley-Ann posted a lovely card on Facebook last week and I liked it so much it inspired me to CASE her idea!(Sorry can't find it on your blog!) I have made mine a masculine version and have used real banners and string as I do not have her fancy new stamps! I kept the stripes and the central square with a scalloped edge greeting. I replaced the fancy bottom edge with a line of pinpricked holes.  I have a new friend whose husband's job involves delivering (ie sailing) new boats to their new owners wherever they live. This could be anywhere in Australia or indeed the world! I personally could not think of a worse job (I would even rather go back to teaching!!) but anyway he seems to think it is fun. So I think I will keep this card with its rather "nautical" flair for him.

Hi fellow Queenslander! Blog oblivion seems to be common at the moment. Love this stripey card!

Great masculine card Robyn. Ummm I love the idea of sailing a boat around Australia.......not too sure I'd enjoy being out of sight of land through!
