Anyway it is done now and it is for this week's CASology # 17 where the theme is "sugar". I agree with Suze- these CASology ladies sure know how to give those brain cells a workout !!
So sadly lacking in the brain cells (and new stamps!) department I went with the obvious and made my little "sugar" card with a paper pieced cupcake stamp with sugar sparkle (which sparkle IRL!) flower embellies. I hope you can see that my tag says "sweet friend". I also hope that you can see that I made my own button...and are suitably impressed!!
Speaking of things that take a long time- I am going to send this card to a friend who just endured a 2 hour interview for a very high pressure job and now has to wait 3 weeks to find out if she got it.! Why would you bother I think- but just as well some people want to do those important jobs I suppose- the world wouldn't get along very far if EVERYBODY wanted to spend all their time in their craft room stamping and cutting up pretty bits of paper Lol!

Your cupcakes are just too sweet! I think you've taken a great photo, it really is hard to show sparkle though. I keep telling my hubby I need a new camera but in reality I think it's user error lol!

Gorgeous card Robyn - LOVE those cupcakes. I can't make a CAS card in 3 minutes EVER! It takes me at least 3 minutes to find the basic things like my ruler and scalpel knife. Maybe it is like the Ch.7 show Better Homes and Gardens where the carpenter whips up a garden seat in 3 mins in TV time but in reality, takes 3 years if you try and make it.
It actually takes me almost as long to make a CAS card as a layered card and then when I look at my CAS card, I wonder how something so simple could take soooooo long. I just don't understand.......
