Last night I decided to turn yesterday's card idea into a gift box with three 3x3 gift cards. I am planning to make and sell them to raise money for a good cause. . I need to help my DH raise some funds for a charity bike ride that he is planning to do in October. It is called "The Ride to Conquer Cancer". I am hoping to sell some of these to raise sponsorship money for him. What do you think? Do you think that people would want to buy them? How much could I charge? Can you think of any other ideas? Do you know how or where would be good ways to sell them? I want to help him because if he doesn't raise the required sponsorship then he cannot go in the ride (which I think is a bit unfair) ...But he wants to give it a go because it is such a good cause and because he wants to do the ride! Any info or ideas you could give me would be greatly appreciated- just asking people to donate does not seem to be working which I think is surprising given that most families would have been touched by cancer. Anyway..... if you have ever sold your crafty creations anywhere and/or have any ideas could you please let me know. Thanks!

Who wouldn't want to buy these fabulous notecards?! You could try taking a boxful into work - it would be a good way to start talking about the ride for cancer and maybe you;d get a few donations that way too. Could you hold a coffee morning and sell them there? You could maybe have a rummage in your stash and make an attractive hamper of items you no longer want and raffle it. Good luck Robyn!
