Fireworks Love

If you are a regular reader of my blog you would know that the family of my son's fiance has been visiting over Christmas from Holland. Well after Christmas they headed up to Sydney and while they were at the fireworks display on NYE, her brother and his girlfriend got engaged too! So now there will 2 quick succession weddings in that family as well! I have used sketch # 102 from Cards and Things Challenges. I flipped the sketch. I used the Always stamp (SU) but cut it out with the heart punch as I have always felt that this image while very lovely is a bit too big for a card front. The blue is Concord Crush which looks lovely against the white and silver highlights of the card. The panel with the hearts is a lovely shimmery paper which was left over from my daughter's wedding invitations

Great color combo Robyn! Love that you've punched the heart out to make it suit your needs...I honestly wouldn't have thought of that! :o)

Oh my goodness Robyn - the silver embossing on the Concord Crush is just stunning! What a great idea to punch out the smaller hearts too. I haven't wished you a happy new year yet but I really do wish you and your family all the best for 2012. Vicky x
