You probably already know that my favourite colour is blue. If given a choice my preference will always be blue. I really have to work hard at choosing different colours for my clothing or my house ! That's why I just could not resist this week's Inspiration Challenge (#321) on SCS where the featured site was "Everything Turquoise" I loved looking through all the beautiful blue items and loved them all....but eventually chose this bedroom setting because it reminded me of my new and gorgeous "Rustic Tiles" set that I was lucky enough to win from the "Skipping Stones Design" challenge recently. I chose Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake as my colours and added a lacy punched border and pearls to match the elegant theme of the room I also used the sketch from Less is More # 52 which we were not allowed to change AT ALL! (congrats on a year of challenging challenges and CAS inspiration Mandi and Chrissie !)
I could not decide on what kind of card it should be but finally chose this lovely sentiment to make it a 21st/graduation type card.Maybe it would be suitable for an anniversary card too.
PS...Post title explanation....A "Bower bird is an Australian bird that collects blue things from his environment (even pegs and lolly wrappers!) to decorate his "bower" (nest) and attract female "friends".

How fascinating about the Bower bird - what an incredible thing nature is! I like blue too (though not to that extent!) and love it with brown as you've used it here. A lovely design Robyn and good for pretty much any occasion! Vicky x
That is so lovely, I love the colour blue. I wear it most of the time and use it a lot in my stamping/card making. Gorgeous stamps and wonderful colour combination - those ink pads are going on my wish list! Hugs Karen x
