This card is another that I chose to CASE from Katie's blog. In honour of her I am CASEing 5 of her cards,selling them and donating the money to cancer research. Her layout ,with the strip of lace that did not go all the way along the card reminded me of this week's sketch at Skipping Stones Design(#101) . So I decided to merge the two ideas into a wedding card seeing as Katie's card also had a "love" theme. I like that it is a longer card than I would usually make- I think it adds more elegance and formality. I again used the rose from Flower Fest as when I ordered it I envisioned it as being one that would be good for using on wedding cards . I also used Bella Bleu (SU retired) DSP as this was also bought with wedding cards in mind! (weddings are quite a feature of my life at the moment!) The beautiful pearls are from Annabelle Stamps.(who obviously sell more than stamps ! Lol!) It is hard to get a good photo of this but it is pretty IRL!
Thanks to generous donors I have so far raised $30 to send to the Cancer Council in honour of Katie
