Here we go again.......!!!

Just received the phone call that we have been expecting with the exciting news that our son is engaged!! His fiance (!!) is J and she comes from a Dutch/Australian heritage so that should add an interesting mix to our extended family! Haven't heard any plans about the wedding as yet but last I heard -her "dream wedding" was to get married in an ice cave in Sweden !! so I will keep you informed as to whether it actually will be as exciting as that!!

Well, I did know that the proposal was due to take place today- (unfortunately really...I wish it had all been a lovely surprise!) but anyway it did give me time to make a special card for them . I will be seeing them (and the ring !!...which I believe is "wheel barrow worthy"!) on Sunday so will give it to them then.
Hope you are impressed with the flashy card- definitely not a "Clean and Simple" one this time !! I received a (store bought) one like this for my birthday recently so thought a very special occasion such as this warranted me to have a go at recreating it.

The photo of them both together is a favourite one of mine- it was taken at our daughter's wedding last April...so ....like I said.....here we go again!!!!
