Two of my favourite challenges have similar sketches this week- A sketch by elmo98ca
for the CAS challenge (#138) on Splitcoast and a sketch by Cristina for Skipping Stones design # 96. So I decided to make a Christmas card for each using the same design idea. I also challenged myself to use exactly the same materials- but in a different way -for each card. So this is what I came up with! I love making little triangle trees- there are so many lovely green DSP's in each pack!! But not so many nice red ones which is why I used this red ribbon. It looks nice but is hard to stick down as neatly as a strip of DSP-anyone have any handy hints??
(Two more Shirley-Ann for my woeful Christmas card total !!- don't think I will be getting to 50 this year either!!)

Such a wonderful Christmas card.......now you are on your way! Thanks for joining us over at SSD this week!
These are both fantastic cards and a lovely way to showcase the same materials. I usually stitch my ribbon but sometimes that isn't as neat as the regular DSP either. Thanks too, for playing at the SSD Sketch Challenge!
