Rusty Male

I am really loving Amy's Skipping Stones Designs sketches at the moment. Unfortunately I missed # 94 because I was away in Sydney for a week visiting my mum for her birthday. But I caught up when I got home by making a masculine card using the sketch. It is also for Kathryn's stamping challenge to make a "rust" inspired male card. I used "rusty" colours and a metal brad. Today, October 1st - it is World Card making Day, so I thought I should at least post a card even if I don't get around to making one. It is supposed to be Spring here in Australia...but it is FREEZING here in Melbourne today!! ....So I just might have to get cozy later in my craft room!

Happy world card-making day Robyn! I love hearing how your seasons are doing. Your card is lovely with its autumnal colour palette. It's autumn here in the UK but we're having the kind of heatwave that's unheard of here at this time of year and are all wandering around in flip-flops and summer frocks (well not the men obviously!) Hope you had a great time with your mum in Sydney. Vx

How have I missed so many of your beautiful cards!!! This male card is terrific, may have to CASE this one and the previous 3 or 4 are just beautiful. Maybe it 's because I have been in Ballarat for the past week and catching up on all things blog related is difficult on a mobile phone.
