Well "Inspiration Pics" are meant to inspire us and this one certainly did the trick for me! Isn't it a fabulous photo??!! How I wish I were there instead of chilly old Melbourne!
The pic comes from Delys as Challenge #76 on "Just Add Ink " this week.
It also reminded me of another one of my stamping inspirations...Vicki.... and THIS
beautiful card that she made for one of the Less is More challenges. So I decided to CASE it!
But this did present me with some creative challenges- firstly I don't have the "Neighbourhood Wheel" that she used and the houses from "Good Neighbours" ...which I DO have ...would be too small. However I did have this gorgeous house stamp given to me by my son's girlfriend last year for my birthday...but it is a much more elegant style.... Hmmm - So I decided to go "posh" and even though I LOVE the blue in the photo I decided to stick with cream and black ...... with red for the flowers as that goes so well with black. I made them with the Boho Blossoms punch. I used this weeks sketch on SCS ( #341 )
which luckily enough was perfect for my design as the 2 outside panels looked like the shutters on the inspiration house when they were crimped.....Look closely Lol!!
So Thank you !! to all my sources of inspiration for this card- I was truly inspired by you!

Well I'm always thrilled to think I could be any inspiration to anyone so thank you for making my day Robyn! Your card is beautiful and I suspect yours is a classier neighbourhood than mine!! Vx
Robyn I can see how the photo inspired you with these houses and the flower edging, a lovely card. Thanks for playing this week at Just Add Ink.

I love how you have framed the houses with the flowers, it reminds me of the flowers along the balcony in the photo! Thanks for playing at JAI this week ♥
Your take on the sketch is spot ion and I love how this card turned out. The stamp made me think of old houses in Amsterdam; our capital city...
Gorgeous Robyn; good to see enother handmade beauty from you.
And it's lovely to have some time for blogging again. After being off and on at the hospital..
Gorgeous card!
Lovely card Robyn. The way you've used the flowers was just the perfect touch. Glad you could play along with us this week.
