Starry Starry Night....

Every year, ever since I saw a post from Sarah Klass , I have been obsessed with making at least 1 Christmas card every year using "Trendy Trees" (SU) ! They usually take the form of "Snowy Scenes" . Not that I am an expert by any means on snowy scenes as I live in Australia.....(not known for many snowy scenes.. especially at Christmas ) but I do have German relatives and my son has a Dutch girlfriend so that gives me a bit of snow cred I think Lol!!
Anyway enough "whittering on" (as my English friend Vicky would say!) .... Here is this year's version ! It uses the sketch from this week's "CAS-ual Friday" challenge # 5. which I am actually getting done on Friday!! When I saw Laurie's (DT) cute card with the cow and the hill the obsession started all over again and all I could think about was a snow covered hill and little trees. This year's card is a bit different though because there are tiny stars in the sky instead of snowflakes. (Hence the title) The silver ruffled ribbon is not there just to look cute !! - it is also so that I can enter this card in CAS # 121 (SCS) which this week asks us to ruffle or fold our ribbon. Well that is the last of my Dazzling Diamonds so if I am going to make a "Snowy Scene" next year I had better go and put in an order for another pot!
