Today I received a message from my son asking me to make a card for him to send to his girlfriend's sister in Holland. (whom I have never met) He didn't exactly give me a lot to go on- "Not sure what type of style-Don't know her favourite colour- She is turning 18 if that helps" "Oh ...and can I have it by the weekend?" !!
Mmmm!! So this is what I came up with- from photos I have seen of her I would think she is not the wallflower/ ultra girly type so I tried to come up with something with a "funky" feel Lol! I have used this week's sketch for the CAS challenge (#120 ) on Split Coast Stampers. It is from a card by Regina.

Aaaah! Aren't sons fabulous in every way?!! You've risen brilliantly to the challenge though (as I'm sure he knew you would!) This card does have a funky feel - I love the hounds tooth DP with the polka dots and I've always loved those flowers too. Vx
Brilliant card, Robyn...especially given the minimal information you had to work with! I'm sure the birthday girl will love it.
