Sophisticated Scrap

You all know that I like making scrap cards....Well on Gardenia's blog I found an intriguing sketch that is just perfect for scrap cards. It is this week's challenge # 94 from Unscripted Sketches and Gardenia is on their design team. The optional extra is to add fabric but I did not- that bit was put in the "too hard" basket! This is a very sophisticated version of a scrap card using my new goodies that I received this week from Stampin Up-...Crumb Cake ink, Love letters DSP and joy oh joy... the beautiful "Bliss" stamp set!! The sentiment is from Carte Postale which I rediscovered when I moved back into my craft room! Yes, my son moved out last weekend. He has moved back to Ballarat to attend university there for the next 3 years. I will miss him terribly -he is a gorgeous boy...but I AM happy to have my craft room back! The bonus is also that while moving it all back, I have re-sorted all my supplies and everything is much easier to find and use ...and put away! (Well ..we will have to see about that Lol!)

WOW you have put these papers together perfectly!. Need to get some crumb cake ink myself, I think I would use it alot.

Glad you have your craft room back, though don't envy your son going to live in Ballarat - love visiting it (I have family there) just not in winter.

What a fab layout - looks gorgeous with this DP! I bet you'll miss your son but he won't be too far away. And hopefully we'll get to see more of your beautiful creations now you've got your craft room back!

Lovely, lovely card, Robyn. Feel sad for you missing your son but how lovely to have your craft room up and running again. When our daughter moved out a number of years ago she wasn't even at the end of the street before I was converting her bedroom into 'my space'!
Happy creating xxx
