Well there are a million and one other things that I should be doing- but once again I have been beguiled by my stamps and inks and this afternoon made this card for Fall to Layout # 121 at Clean and Simple stamping . It is also for CAS# 98 at SCS which was to be inspired by this photo of a "Prairie" apron. I immediately thought of "Little House on the Prairie" ( a TV show I used to love watching) but I could not get any "house" images to work ...so settled for this cute little bird instead. I loved the colours and the mix of patterns . I did not have anything the same but did my best to find some in my stash that I hope give a similar effect. Are you impressed with my sponging ??- inspired by Jo Bear I went down to the chemist and bought myself a "sea sponge". Check out her beautiful Christmas cards using "Peaceful Wishes" to be inspired too. Like she says- the sponges are a bit pricey but they last for ages and I have been very much happier with the effects I am able to achieve with it-so it is worth a try if you also have been having trouble with this technique.

This gorgeous! Beautiful colors and that birdie is too cute!
Did your son get his suitcases back? It has been freezing cold but now the snow and frost are gone... And that makes me happy; I am a summer type of person :)
