Country Style

I used to love country style...so the inspiration pic from Kaboodle Doodles ( # 39) really appealed to me . It made me think straight away of my new (to me) Urban Garden DSP which I got for a bargain on the retiring list. The other DSP I have used is Raspberry Tart and of course Crumb Cake ( aka Kraft) for the base of the card. The bedhead reminded me of my fave "Always" flower which I have used much more than all the rest of that set. The patchwork design also suited making another card with the sketch from CAS #83 on SCS last week. There are no deadlines to miss on that challenge- you can enter any time you like so that is good for repeating fave designs. I really liked Die cut diva's interpretation of the sketch that I found in the gallery so I have done this one in the same kind of style - very simple with a sentiment from Upsy Daisy in Not Quite Navy ink. I found Kaboodle Doodles at a "challenge directory" kind of blog called Feline Playful. So if you like challenges like I do it's a good place to go to find some of the current challenges that are around -all in one place!

I do like these kind of layouts - something all the same size and shape but different colours or patterns or same colour different shapes. Yours is lovely - you've chosen great patterns and colours and I like that sentiment stamp too.

A simple and gorgeous card! I always have trouble using that always set, I love it, but can never think of ways to use it!
