My husband is on afternoon shift this week so when I am not working I have lots of time home alone...aaaaaaww!! But don't feel bad....do you know how much uninterrupted surfing/crafting time that gives me?? Bet you are jealous now all you young mums...(but I have been there done that so I know what that is like!! It will end one day before you know it!!)Anyway back to the point...I have been surfing today and have been totally inspired by several creations that I have found...
First up....gorgeous ruffled paper on THIS card in the CAS80 gallery by CAKath
Then.....more gorgeousness on a card by Marcia which she made for her design team spot for challenge #2 at Lollipop Ladies blog.
Then ultra cuteness by the ultra creative Chupa on THIS card
And lastly super sweet sponged pinkness by Sue Madex on THIS card for the Helping Hudson challenges which I'm sure you have all heard about.
Anyway, thank you so much girls because I have put all your inspirations together to make this card which I am quite happy with. Not my usual style I guess but it was fun to do something different. I am entering it in 3 challenges....CAS80, Challenge #8 at the Helping Hudson blog (the bird is clear embossed and sponged) and Challenge #2 at Lollipop ladies which is to be inspired by the yummy pink cupcake (above) and add ruffles. Now all I need is a so sweet baby girl to give it to....
