I'm late, I'm late...oh well.........!!

I ran late with posting this card for 2 challenges that I would have liked to enter- my mum is coming to visit for a few weeks so I have been busy getting ready for that. The challenges were Keesh's colour challenge # 30 of Rich Razzleberry,Kraft.Old Olive and Whisper White. (How could I not give that one a go Lol!) and the sketch challenge for Fall to Layout # 97. The ornaments are silver embossed with the Baroque motifs swirl , DSP is Cottage Wall and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny sentiments. The strings for the ornaments go through a tiny hole in the fold and are covered with a matching strip of DSP inside- a trick I learned from Kristina Werner- I have been able to watch her videos now that we have STACKS of internet access Woo Hoo !! I made the branches that the ornaments are hanging from with the bird punch...oh well....I guess its better late than never!!
btw this brings my Christmas card count to 20 !! -hope you are impressed!!

This is one of those cards that I really wish I'd thought of myself - it is perfect in every way. And yes I am so impressed by your Christmas card tally (although I misread it as 201 at first and was stunned by the amount of cards you'll be sending!)

Yes I am impressed , Robyn , with the tally and the card itself. Love the card . The baubles are so Christmassy , arn't they?
It will be great to have your Mum
visiting I am sure.
Thanks for your comments on my blog , they really mean a lot .

This is a gorgeous card Robyn...really love the colours you have used...a nice change from traditional Christmas colours. What a clever use of the bird punch...how did we manage before that piece of hardware came along?!

Simply stunning Robyn!!! I love everything about this card - colour, stamps (I was so surprised to discover it was Baroque Motifs - possibly my favourite SU set) and Christmas which I am struggling with on a few fronts for a few different people. I may have to "borrow" your gorgeous design. Thank you for sharing it.
