It has taken me a while to get back into stamping after returning from Sydney, but here is my first attempt..... Surprise surprise !! Lol!.. it is for last week's Clean and Simple challenge on SCS (#67) and also for Natasha's Fall to Layout (#91). The CAS challenge was to make a "shabby" CAS card. I have tried several times to make these ruffled flowers but they always seem to look so much better on other people's cards than on mine. I always end up binning them! This time though they are allowed to look "shabby" so guess mine is ok! I seem to have a "thing" for anniversary cards at the moment....but I think I will make another card the same for my mum's birthday in September. It would suit an "older lady" card too I think. The DSP is SU (retired) Pearl from Annabelle. Sentiment stamp from Lincraft.Gold encore ink.

Oh, that is just fabulous Robyn, I love it, the soft colour scheme goes perfectly with your layout
Hi Robyn!
Glad to see you back into making cards! This is a beautiful Shabby Card....The colours and dp are perfect and I love your flower....nothing wrong with that!
Hello Robyn , welcome back to the world of mini art.. Excellent version of ' shabby' , well done . Love your flower.
I love that faded nostalgic look and you've done it beautifully. The flower looks fantastic with that big pearl in the centre.
Hi Robyn,
What a gorgeous card! I LOVE your ruffled flower - I haven't been able to master them yet (check my bin!) - mine seem to look like something I composted a month ago! But you did a fabulous job.
