The other day while browsing blogs-I came across a challenge set by Marelle last year to choose a card from the "new" (then) catty and make you own version of it. She chose the butterfly card on page 83 and made THIS version of it. I was inspired to have a go too and came up with these two cards using the same layout. The blue/brown one uses Carte Postale and will be for my son's birthday in February. The pink one uses Petal Pizzaz and as that is her favourite stamp set- will be for my daughter's birthday in a week or two (Don't THINK she reads my blog!!) This one also qualifies for this weeks Clean and Simple challenge # 49 on SCS to......"cut it out!"

Both great cards, i dont do this enough and try to rack my brains for new stuff! I should give this a go too!
