My youngest sister has a birthday this week. Her name is Jenny....or "Jenny Wren" as my mum used to call her! Those 2 words still seem to go together all these years later!
This is the card that I made to send to her. It uses the colours and lay out from 2 new sites that I have recently come across in blogland- Annabelle Stamps (#3 sketch ) and Diva Coffee break designs ( # 154 )
Annabelle stamps is a new Aussie stamp business!! Love their new Christmas stamps but didn't have any to work with yet on this sketch- maybe....please,please... I will win their blog candy (hurry..finishing Nov 22nd!) http://annabellestamps.blogspot.com/2009/11/cool-candy.html
I love these colours together-Bordering Blue/Night of Navy/Sage Shadow and Real Red. And I love using the gorgeous Petal Pizzaz stamp set that I got for my birthday back in October. I made this card last night while my husband was watching a horrible DVD called "Duel"-.....don't know about you but I'd much rather be stamping!! (Duh!! I already know the answer to that LOL!!)
