It's not long until Father's Day in Australia (We have it in September - if anyone reading this is from o/s). So when the Clean and Simple challenge on SCS called for a masculine card I thought that this was a good opportunity to get organised for this occasion. This is the card that I made for my Dad- he is 91 and lives in a nursing home in Sydney now but is happy and doing ok. I used a "Fall to Layout" (don't know which one... sorry) from http://cleanandsimplestamping.blogspot.com..... If you are a fan of the clean and simple style of card like I am then this is a site you HAVE to check out. The DSP is retired ( Le Jardin) Cardstock-mellow moss/always artichoke and vanilla. Twill tape and mellow moss button with linen thread and Stamp set the very versatile Trendy trees!

Such an attractive card Robyn.
I'm just back from a very happy day at the Stitches and Craft Show in Sydney. Foot sore but very happy as I managed to buy all kinds of goodies I can't usually get locally. Then when I got home my SU demo had delivered Forest Friends to my house - joy of joys - I've waited to get my hands on this little set. It has a tree very like yours too.
Hi, just read your comment on my blog and smiled.
I was talking to a very nice lady on the stampin up stall. She sounded like a kiwi!!!!
Fabulous male card - these Trendy Tress are soo versatile - but I just never seem to pick them up!!! Will have to try harder..
