One thing that DOES seem to grow in our garden without too much trouble is our Lemon Tree. Even though it doesn't get a great amount of TLC it continues to reward us each year with heaps of beautiful lemons! The tree was in the garden when we bought the house and even though I have always wanted to have a lemon tree -I really don't have that many ideas about what I can do with them. The only recipe I have is for my mother's beautiful lemon butter...Does anyone out there have any great lemon recipes? If you do you could email them to me at rainbowsbyrobyn@y7mail.com Any help would be greatly appreciated !! Maybe we could do a lemon recipe card swap??? If you are interested let me know!!!

Don't know many lemon recipes, but I do have a tip that is supposed to make your lemon tree grow really good lemons...
Get the boys to go "mark their territory" on your tree regularly, supposed to be really good for the tree.
I couldn't find the recipe but there was a lemon tart on masterchef during the wedding challenge that looked really yummy...
Hi Robyn, seeing this pic reminded me that I left a blog award for you on my blog but can't remember if I told you! Sorry! Hope you have a great week.
Louise
you can also go to taste.com or something like that and type in receipes with lemons... I have taken to drinking a slice of lemon in boiling water now that it is so cold...but how much can you drink!
I have 2 lemon trees so have a few good lemon recipes - I'll bundle them together and email them to you soon! Please email me to remind me if you don't hear - have my son home sick so may be distracted and forget!

Hi Robyn,
My lemon tree died!!! I'm trying to grow a lime but without much luck so far.
I'm sure I have some lemon recipes will sort them out.
Oh yes and BTW I think it might me a bit warmer when you go to NZ. I want to go back in the spring - I think the coutryside would be even more stunning. I have some pics to put up taken on the Doubtful Sound - awsome spot!!
LEMON DELICIOUS PUDDING
Ingredients
50 grams softened butter
grated rind two large lemons
1/4 cup flour, sifted
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup caster sugar
2 eggs, separated
1 cup milk
Method
Beat the butter, sugar, lemon rind and egg yolks together until light and fluffy.
Gently stir in the flour, milk and lemon juice.
Put the egg whites in a clean bowl and beat until they form stiff peaks but are not dry.
Fold the two mixtures together and pour into a well-greased 3-4 cup capacity oven-proof dish. To make individual puddings use 4 well-greased ramekins.
Bake at 160°C for 30-40 minutes in a water bath until the top is golden and firm to the touch. Serve hot with whipped cream.
Hi,
I am just emailing you an excellent Lemon Meringue Pie. I have made it a couple of times and it is amazing! I got it from a friend of mine.
Lisa
No recipes here but the other day at a market I had some homemade style lemonade and it reminded me of when I was a kid and we'd make it. No idea what's in it - sugar lemons and water I think with lots of ice but its very refreshing!
