This is the inspiration photo that Keesh gave us to work with this time. This card took me longer than I expected and once again ended up differently from what I had first envisaged- but hey!! that's the fun and satisfaction that comes from excercising those creative muscles!! I didn't plan it but it seems to have turned into another wedding card- or maybe an anniversary or a 21st card for an elegant girl!
The white pattern on the front cushion was my inspiration to use the vine from Fresh Cuts. The White ,Sahara Sand and Gold colour scheme came from the colours of the cushions. My original idea was to emboss the image in white on Sahara Sand- but that ended up in the bin! In the end I did the embossing in gold which looks shiny and pretty IRL but has not photographed very well...(I need a new camera like Keesh!)The ribbon is non SU and it is shiny too! I have used the beautiful "Wonderful Words" for the sentiment which unfortunately is retired now- I think it is just perfect for elegant cards.
I actually do know an older couple who are getting married in October so I think I will add a gold heart brad under the sentiment and give it to them on their happy day! Thanks for looking!
