Stamping at Sue's

Last Friday night I was lucky enough to be invited to Sue M's house for a night of stamping !- (needless to say not a great deal of stamping was done!!) However I did borrow Sue's "Bodacious Bouquet" stamp set and was able to stamp off some images with my favourite colours to bring home. On Saturday , after I came home from work , I was glad to have something constructive to do - it was very therapeutic to sit and cut out all my images as I listened on the radio to the unfolding terror of the bushfire crisis in Victoria. Thankfully , the fires were nowhere near us- the worst area was over on the Eastern side of Melbourne but further north. We once visited that area-beautiful bushland with towering Gum trees and an understory of huge lush green Tree Ferns and quaint and pretty little bushland townships. Sadly a few of these townships just don't even exist anymore......

Here is the card that I made using those images- Thanks Sue
Stamps- Bodacious Bouquet/So many sayings
Cardstock-Elegant Eggplant/Rose Red/Whisper White
Ink- Elegant Eggplant/Rose Red /Regal Rose/Purely Pomegranate/Groovy Guava/Old Olive
Ribbon- Regal Rose
Brads- Rose Red

Thanks again for being a great blog buddy. I hope you are safe from the fires? How close are they to you?

Gorgeous! Fab colours & great layout. Even though I love 'Bodacious', I always seem to have trouble using it. Go figure.
You've inspired me to pull it out again today though.
Best wishes, Di
