has a blog feature every week where she thinks of something that she is thankful for. She invites others to join in and this week I am going to because I am SO thankful for EVAPORATIVE AIR COOLERS!!!. There is a heatwave on in Melbourne this week- at the moment the thermometer out on our back deck is reading 42 degrees ( celcius that is- that's way over 100 degrees Fahrenheit!!) This is the 2nd day of over 40 degree temps and tomorrow is going to be the same-cooling down on Saturday to a mild 35 (!!!) Anyway onto the cooler... It was in this house when we bought it and I am SO thankful because it makes it so cool inside and so much easier to sleep at night ....I have the day off work today and I am so thankful that I can spend the day inside in the cool- Only problem is now I have no excuse for all the housework that hasn't got done !!

Thanks for playing along Robyn! I just can't get over that you are talking about a heat wave when we are freezing here. It's a very cold 22F, I think thats a -6 C. Maybe we could share the weather and it would be comfortable for us both?

What a great thing to be thankful for! :) It's so fun to think of how it's summer there and winter here. We were having some beautiful Colorado weather recently (in the 60's (F) but today it's snowing and about 20F out. :)
A saying in Colorado goes "If you don't like the weather, stick around, it changes every 10 minutes."
