As I mentioned in my last post, my parcel from Stampin Up! contained all the beautiful colours of card stock. Now I was able to do Kristina's Colour Challenge for the first time! (See my blog list to the right for the link to the "kwernerdesign" site if you don't know what this is!) I also had a beautiful new stamp set to try out too called"A little bit of Happiness"-(which you could get too as a special gift if you host a level 1 workshop.....!!!) The colours chosen by Kristina to be used this week were... Sage Shadow/RoseRed/Regal Rose and Whisper White-gorgeous colours!!...and this card is what I created with them! I am pretty happy with it-only it took me so long to make it that I missed the deadline for the challenge! Oh well, next time.....
Here's some more details...The main part of the card is Sage Shadow. The image is stamped on Whisper White. Then the flowers were coloured using Stampin Pastels and a blender pen. The printed paper is "Pallette o Prints". The large flower has been stamped on the same print, cut out and adhered over the shape on the stamped image also with a circle of regal rose in the centre. To finish off the card- 2 strips of Regal Rose- one with a scalloped edge and a tie of Purely Pomegranate double stitched ribbon. Oh! and if you would like to know more about hosting a workshop and receiving a beautiful stamp set of your own- be sure to leave a message!
